Lindsey is 45

It happens every year on February 21st, I get to celebrate another incredible year of life. This year was a big one. 45 just seems noteworthy. I tell everyone that I love my 40s. I feel like I just enjoy each year more and more. I’m sure it has something to do with me being more grounded in God’s truth and more confident in my identity as a daughter of the King. Knowing myself better helps too.

Enjoy the fun day we had as a family!

Django picked out this “It’s my day” button for me to wear. Here we are waiting at the tram stop to head into town.

One of my wishes was to go on the Ferris Wheel as a family.

My boys in blue with the blue coast behind them.

I love my girl. She is an incredible person.

The whole gang. I was so happy to do this with everyone!

Weeeeeeee! Hands in the air!

Girl side =) Three Petrignani generations.

It was Carnaval time, so the bleachers and floats could be found everywhere. Nice is well-known for its Carnaval celebrations and parades.

Another wish was that I wanted falafal. We got it! It was so good!

Pierre took this of me before lunch. 45.

Mouth watering as I look at our food again. It was seriously so delicious.

And my third wish (sounds like I found a magic genie lamp) was to eat churros. They are the next best thing to donuts. I love me some fried dough covered in sugar…haha!

Trying on Papi’s beanie. I C A N N O T with this boy. He is too cute.

Django picked these gifts out for me. (Thank you Nancy and Pierre for taking the kids shopping. So sweet.)

Daphné picked out all of this for me. She is such a thoughtful girl. She had a sweet explanation behind each gift, each one carefully chosen.

Trying on the clip she got me.

Facetime with my Dad and Mama. I love them so much!

Facetime with my sissy pants, Chelsey. I miss youuuuuuu!!!!

My birthday outfit (thank you Denae, wink, wink.)

And the next day was Sunday. Gilles, me and Ellie all received a little goody from the bakery (thank you Pierre) while everyone from church sang “Joyeux Anniversaire” to us. I love sharing a birthday with Ellie, February 21st, and Gilles was born on Valentine’s Day. So fun!

This birthday filled my cup to overflowing with God’s presence, His joy and peace. I am thankful for this life He has given me and for my family and friends also.

Love Linz
