February 2026 in TWENTY photos

Enjoy the fun that filled in the spaces between my trip to Torino and my birthday.

We had an Agape Feast at church, a bring and share. It’s so much fun to stay and eat with our church family.

Daphné participated in the local boulangerie photo display. Hers is on the lower row on the right, purple top, light blue sleeves, pink skirt and brown hair. She enjoyed seeing her art in the spotlight.

Django attentively paying attention in class.

Ave, me and Maki - you’ve seen them before. Such wonderful friends. We try to meet two or three times a year. I love them so much.

Daphné and I got to have a little shopping date and finished at a cookie shop.

Every February is Carnaval in Nice. I get to come to the kids’ school as part of the parent association. These are our outfits this year. Where’s Waldo. Cleopatra. Iron Man.

It’s so much fun to be at school with the kids.

Family back in Cali. My dad and mom go on a walk after my dad’s shoulder surgery. Face time with my sissy pants and her oldest. We are so thankful for family and for technology.

My little fishy wanted to go swimming, so I accompanied him. We had so much fun!

Daphné and her other classmates born in January and February. A glimpse into a French classroom. Not too much different than the states.

Leading worship with Tonio.

Tonio teaching the book of Matthew.

Home group at Pierre and Nancy’s home.

Our neighbors downstairs gave us several board games that they don’t play anymore. Jackpot!

Papi and Mamie took the kids to a video game place. They are the best!

Sleepover at Papi and Mamie’s home. Daphné ended up coming home around 11pm since she couldn’t sleep. Django snoozed the whole night downstairs.

Daphné’s friend Romy came over to hang out.

We took the kids ice skating for the first time. Django loved this “pousse-pousse.” Tonio and I hadn’t been on the ice in a LONG time. He used to play ice hockey in Canada and Seattle, and I used to take figure skating lessons in California. We were both proud of ourselves that we didn’t fall.

The “pousse-pousse” doubles as a throne for a prince…haha.

Daphné and Tonio after a few tours around the rink.

The end.
