Winter Soul: a poem
You are our Shepherd in every season
My winter soul is weary.
Be with me in this darkness
When all is cold and teary.
You are our Light in every fog
My soul continues to stumble.
Be with me in this darkness
When all I do is fumble.
You are our Water in every drought
My soul is parched from fear.
Please lift me from this darkness
When hope is drawing near.
You are our Comfort in every heartbreak
My winter soul is thawing.
I no longer fear this darkness
As spring time wakes up yawning.
