Cricri’s Baptism
Many of you have heard me talk about Cricri, seen pictures of her or maybe even know her. She is an amazing woman. She is the most faithful encourager and so generous with our family! After the death of her husband Rob, who was taken far too early from cancer, she started coming to church in person. She often would watch online, even while faithfully taking care of Rob.
After coming to church for two years, she decided she wanted to be baptized. We were thrilled.
Cricri sharing her testimony of how God has changed her life.
She shared that the last time she spoke in public was when she was 15 years-old, but you wouldn’t know it. Her genuine heart and fluid story was so beautiful and touching.
Tonio, Sebastien, Pierre and Nathan praying for Cricri after she shared.
Then, the whole church walked the 7-minute walk to the sea for the main event!
How cool that she was baptized by her brother and nephew! So special.
Baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
Old life to new life.
Rejoicing!
Before, during and after.
This was such an encouraging day for so many. Cricri is 83 years-old. I think it really blessed and encouraged others that it’s never too late.

And another for fun.
Cricri with Gloria, Lydia and Lita.
We went to a restaurant after to celebrate. The waiter put little pompoms in Daphné’s hair.
Then Django wanted to put them in his hair. Haha.
Mamie Nancy, Papi Pierre, Tonio, Django, Jean-Jacques (Cricri’s friend), Cricri, me and Daphné. Lunch was delicious!
Dear Cricri, I know you are one of my 5 blog readers…haha! We love you so much, and we are so happy we could celebrate this very glorious day with you. We pray that God continues to teach you and encourage you in this journey to heaven.
