Back in Nice
Hello everyone! Please forgive me… it’s been a few weeks. I was having some difficulties with loading pictures onto the blog. I’ve regained a little momentum after my wonderful husband helped reset everything for me.
These pictures are a tiny glimpse into our lives from jet lag to a bit more normalcy.
Polyester dress-ups on a hot, humid day… Haha! I just love these two, and I love that being sweaty doesn’t bother them as much as it does me.
It’s nice having friends with a community pool. Swimming really does help jet lag so much.
Bubble queen.
My handsome man modeling a shirt from my brother—in-law’s fitness training business. If you live in California in the Ventura or LA County, consider training with Brett. He is so good at what he does! You’ll love it and love the results. Here is the website for Forged Performance Institute : www.forgedperformanceinstitute.com
A day at the indoor public pool with the kiddos and Mamie.
Muscle man.
Beach evening picnic.
My 3 favorite people.
This picture just makes me happy!
Always great to be with family (Mamie and Papi) and friends (from England).
This picture so blesses my heart. Just months ago, these two gals were not leading worship, and the Lord is really raising up some cool people to help me and Tonio lead worship. Tonio is playing cajon here. It’s great to have Yann, Stephy and Anne-Laure, too.
I had a morning off, and I wanted to do something that was life-giving to me. I went to the local art museum. This is my favorite painting in the museum. It is called “La Petite Danseuse” (The Little Dancer) by Camille BOMBOIS, 1883-1970.
We had to run a few errands on a warm day, so the kids asked and I said yes to the carousel. It was a nice little break.
Daphné chose the spinning one.
Django and I cruised in the bobbing chariot.
She’s such a joy!
In the tram with these fun people.
New park discovery. Daphné and Tonio have already been here. Django and I had fun exploring.
Her face is so sweet. She is getting ready to help Django off the net bridge onto the platform.
The boys and their naps.
Park with friends!
Our kids have learned that mama never gives them money to make these toys work, so they are really good at pretending. Haha.
Bird watching.
Parrots are so funny and talkative.
Tonio, Edgar and Thomas - friends from university.
Our little veterinarian.
New backpack for our first grader.
In the near future, you can look forward to some blog posts on 1) a wedding that Tonio and I attended in Toulouse, France, 2) our family trip to Austria for a week, 3) Django’s 4th birthday party…. and more! We are thankful to the Lord for His goodness!
Love Linz
