Daphné turns 11!
January 9th, 2015, Tonio and I became parents to the most incredible little person, Daphné Christiane. She has been a joy ever since. We love every opportunity to celebrate the life God has given her. We love you Daphodil!!!
You are compassionate with strong convictions. You have an incredible eye for beauty and gift to create beautiful things. Music and rhythm run deep in your blood and bones - we love listening to you sing and watching you dance. You can be so goofy and so empathetic. You are made in God’s image, beautiful and perfect. It’s an honor to be your mama. I love you!

Getting ready for her friends to come over.
Her theme was books, so you can see the birthday banner has the cutest little book designs.
Bon anniversaire!
Flags in the entry way - it’s a tradition.
Joyeux anniversaire! This is a fun way for you to have a glimpse into our home too.

Heading into town with these 10 and 11 year-olds.
Tram buddies.
Eating crêpes. So yummy!
They thought this door was really pretty and wanted a picture in front of it. I love their appreciation for beauty.
Even big girls love the carousel.
Tickets please.
I joined the fun on a ginormous bunny!
Their “goody bag” was that they could each pick out a book at the bookstore. These girls all love reading, and Daphné had the idea with the bookstore. So creative! Reading on the tram ride home.
Merci Romy!
Merci Alice!
Merci Lena!
It took a while to figure out what she wanted to do for her party, but it came together beautifully in the end. Daphné was blessed and had a blast! That’s what matters most.
Thank you Jesus for entrusting us with her life. She is a gift that we treasure!
