Church Beach Picnic

All through the summer, the church met at the beach for an evening picnic and swim. In the summer, it was Wednesday evenings. And now that school has started, we are doing Friday evenings. Sometimes we are few; sometimes we are many. It has been such a blessing for the church family to hang out and enjoy this gorgeous sea that is just down the street from church.

It was a little windy, so we brought the butterfly kite.

Everyone in! Since it was windy, being in the water was so much warmer than being out of it.

I think I grow more and more thankful for the family of God after every time we can all come together. Our common love for Jesus and following Him makes it that much more joyful. We will be spending eternity together in Heaven! I can’t wait!
