Dead Sea Scrolls + Reagan Library
The Ronald Reagan Library is pretty close to where my parents live. Since they had the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit, we made a day of it!
But first, Grandma Kathy’s pancakes!
Django trying on my fleece.
Posing with Ronald and Nancy.
Superimposed at the Dead Sea.
Beautiful backdrop.
Found in Jerusalem.
Found in the city where Mary of Magdala lived.
So amazing to view these documents in person.
So old!
We had member stickers. Friends of ours had passes and helped up get in for free! Thanks Tommy and Nathalie!
Another funny photoshop delight.
And in the caves.
A piece of the Berlin Wall.
Daphné addressing the masses.
Django being a ham.
The oval office.
Air Force One.
Our photo just before walking through Air Force One.
Cockpit.
Artwork made with jelly beans. Apparently Reagan really like jelly beans.
And here we are before getting a tour through Marine One.

The inside.
1981. A good year!

Black Ace Squadron : F-14A Fighter Jet.
F-117 Nighthawk.
And when we got home, Uncle Steve was there. Oldest brother, Steve, with number 7 kid, Grandpa Tim.
It was a fun day as a family. I think my favorite part was the view of the mountains around us as we ate lunch outside. Sorry no photo. Some views are just meant to be enjoyed.
