January Jelly Beans 2025
Hi there, so just like the sweet, colorful candy that fill in the spaces, I bring you the sweet, colorful moments that filled the spaces between the main event of January, Daphné’s birthday and birthday party. Enjoy!
I cannot fully express my thankful heart for these two wipper-snappers who live on the ground floor of our apartment building! Pierre and Nancy, you are truly amazing grandparents. Django (and Daphné) agrees. I wonder who won the Nerf war.
Playing cops and robbers with Mamie and Papi. Looks like they caught a feisty one.
Barbara and I often pose for pictures to send to my mama. Our fun tradition that started back in 2020.
At the hardware store. Whenever the kids want something, we take a picture of it, and that really satisfies their desire to have it. As you can see, Django wanted this light. We didn’t buy it, but having the picture is almost as good for him.
Candy assembly line. Making little treat bags for Daphné to take to school on her actual birthday.
My sister received the kids’ school pictures. She loves Django and Daphné like her own. I love hers the same.
Daphné riding Atari.
Men’s group at church.
Finishing the last piece of Mamie and Papi’s puzzle.
DONE. Check.
Maxime and Éloïse, such cute kids. Their parents came over for a meeting.
Calvary Chapel Nice team meeting January 2025. We are so thankful to have Julie and Nathanaël on board. Such a blessing!
Tonio’s work space to enter the 2024 accounts.
Daphné brushing Roudoudou.
Riding little Roudoudou bareback.
I’m always so blessed every Christmas / New Year’s to receive so much love! I know it’s not cheap to send a card to us from America. Thank you!!!
And here are are all the cards!
This is our current refrigerator. I will soon remove everything, give it a good cleaning and replace the older pictures with newer ones, while of course keeping the classics. Your picture Christmas cards become our kitchen decorations. Thank you!
Django rocking the rock wall. This is a blurry screen shot from a movie. He really enjoys his class.
A rainy day at the pony club. Lots of the big horses were in the barn, and it was hilarious to walk through and say hi to them all.
I’m doing an accounting training to eventually help Tonio with the church accounts if needed. It’s a lot of info AND it’s all in French. I still can’t believe I speak French! Haha!
Daphné was invited to her friend Evguénia’s birthday party, and there was a DJ workshop. She said she really enjoyed it.
Django came too as an invited guest of the birthday girl’s brother’s friend.
The Django show.
Playing cherades.
The whole crew.
Julie, who was home from church with sick kids, sent this to me with the comment, “Look mama! I’m sitting next to Tonio!” -Éloïse / So precious and so cool that we have a live feed.
Daphné and I met little Winnie, the cutest little Golden Retriever puppy!!! He is just like a baby, putting EVERYTHING in his mouth. Haha. Do you remember Maxime and Coralie’s wedding? Well, this is their very first fur baby after getting married.
Home group! We love sharing our home.
Daphné vaulting on Atari.
Isn’t she amazing and courageous?!!! So proud of her.
I got to lead Sunday school on February 2nd, and this was my preparation. We talked about the parable of the wedding feast, and how we are all invited to God’s party. We can say yes or no. The hat says, “We are ALL invited to God’s party!”
I got to accompany Daphné’s class on a field trip. It’s always fun to see her with her classmates. Here she is at the front of the line with her buddies Alice, Lena and Romy.
Like herding cats is trying to take a group picture of 4th and 5th graders - haha!! Most are looking at the camera.
And that wraps up January Jelly Beans 2025. I hope you enjoyed. We are so thankful for this life and the adventure God has given us.
Love Linz
