Waterfall and family hike
For our last day together as a group of hikers (day 7 in Plampinet), we had a family day. All levels welcomed. Django even joined us. We started off in a beautiful village in Névache, France.
(ps. I still can’t center text under pictures - squarespace will probably fix this soon.)
The French do churches and clock towers very well.
Fun to hike as a family.
My boys by a river.
My boys at the bottom of a waterfall.
This is the waterfall.
I just love putting my feet in icy cold mountain water. I don't last very long, but it's so refreshing!
And my husband decided to go all the way in!
He's amazing! He even said it felt so good. Burrr!!!
A picture from someone else in the group. You can see Tonio in the water and me in turquoise on the side. I slipped just 5 minutes after this photo and bruised my tailbone. Ouch. All better now, but it made the hike out pretty teary and painful. I'm so thankful it was nothing serious. Thank you Jesus.
A pensive Daphné.
Our leaders, Marianne and Guillaume - such a fun couple! So gifted at what they do.
We were so glad Papi Pierre and Mamie Nancy could come with us!
Our hosts, Jacques and Isabelle. These two truly exemplified God's grace, wisdom, love and Joy!
D J A N G O. Our friend Marianne took some fun pictures of our family the last evening together.

Crocodile gloves.
This made us all laugh. The Crocodile feeding Django. Ha!
Group hug and prayer before saying good bye to everyone. What a gift to be able to spend this time with our brothers and sisters in Christ from all over France.
Driving to our next destination over the Col du Galibier, a famous pass riding by the bikers in the Tour de France.
What a week! I hope you enjoyed our journey through Plampinet, France and its surrounding mountains.
