A little June Joy

Even though June 2024 is not yet over, I’d love to share a few glimpses into our almost summer.

Friends of ours sang a choir performance and invited us to come celebrate the 150th year reunion of their village.

I love when they hold hands.

Baptism Sunday! It’s so great to have a beautiful “baptismal” just 5 minutes from church.

Sebastien (dad), Jessalyn and Tonio after the baptism.

Visit from Karen and Mark!

Pierre took this photo of us. I love this guy.

Daphné on Flamme with her horse instructor, Marie.

An interesting carousel in the middle of the mall.

LEGO store!

Embracing her inner Sharpay.

We went to see fireflies one night.

Daphné passed her horseback riding level for the year! So proud of her!

Countdown chain to the end of the school year. The kids’ last day is July 5th.

Daphné enjoying her friend Mélie’s pool!

Resting in God

“Grant me, O most loving Lord,

to rest in you above all else —…

Anything you bestow on me

or reveal to me or promise to me

is too small and unsatisfying

if I do not see or meet you in it.

For surely my heart cannot truly rest,

or ever be fully contented,

unless it rest in you.

Amen

— Thomas À Kempis (1380-1471)

May we all rest in God,

Love Linz
