Easter and Game night 2024
Hi guys, here are some photos to bridge March and April. Life is becoming more springy in so many ways.
Django made this clay creation at school. I said it looked like a little bird nest. He wanted to paint it when he got home. I’m practicing saying yes to painting as often as possible, even if it is a little work. I love that the kids enjoy being creative.
Daphné had a sleepover at her friend’s home the night before Easter.
Easter morning worship. This was the most people we’ve had in front in a long time. It was a super fun special Easter morning worshiping Jesus together. Jake on cajon. Yohan on piano. Yann on guitar. Frances singing harmonies. It takes a lot more work, but it pays off. We had a blast!
And the elementary kids sang a special song. I love hearing their sweet voices. You can listen on youtube.
Praying for Pascal before he heads back to Germany. We will miss him!
So, this scene made me laugh. Looks like they’re praying, right?
NOPE!!! HAHA!!!
Daphné loves dogs! We often stop on the walk to and from school to pet one or two.
She also loves horses, and she is really enjoying her Wednesday horseback riding classes.
Before bed, the kids like to either wrestle if papa is home or play games with mama. This night was game night. It’s so fun!
We don’t make it to this park often, but when we do, the kids love it!
Allez Daphné!
Getting ready for church.
Anne-Laure and Yann leading worship.
Django celebrated 100 days of school.
Home group game night. We ate first then played “Esquissé” - it’s like “Telephone” but with drawing. It is hilarious!
Daphné riding a beautiful Arabian named Diablo.
Django was sick home from school one day and made a fort.
This headband is part of my costume for a singing show in 2 weeks. Django wanted to try it on. Those curls! I mean c’mon!
And this. When he wears that hat, I melt inside.
I have a line up of pictures to share in future blog posts. Stay tuned. Thanks for stopping by! And I want to thank our amazing God who is so faithful and good. I have been reflecting so much lately on the fact that he is “Immanuel” God with us. He is with me. He is with you.
Love Linz
