Noteworthy November 2024

Hi guys! So much happens in a day, a weekend, a week, a month… hard to keep up with it all. But what I love about this blog is that it helps me reflect at how good God is and how He strengthened us through each moment.

Enjoy November in a nutshell with 30+ photos.

Men’s group at church (photo by Pierre): Matteo, Craig, Paul, Nathanaël, Rodhlann, Greg, Tonio and Maurice.

Papi and his pal Django. These two are two peas in a pod.

Nancy walking with Pierre and the kids to school while Tonio and I were on our anniversary getaway.

Daphné gets to ride Muguet.

The view from Tonio’s and my hotel room to celebrate 14 years of marriage!!!

Reading a sweet treasure from my friend Leah. The book is called “Gift from the Sea,” and it was a perfect read on the seashore.

Funny pictures of us. Attack of the French lips! Haha!!!

Pretty normal.

Uh.

Ooo.

Zoom with our friends Thomas and Laura and meeting their little Tonio for the first time!

Having friends over after church: Linda (and her two kids playing with our kids), Morgane and Chouchou. We love using our home to bless and welcome others.

Daphné riding Flamme. She said she felt like a giant on him. She is growing. Flamme is not. Ha!

Ear exam. All is good, praise the Lord!

I got to accompany Django’s class on their field trip to the museum. I was in charge of 6 kids: these 4 and 2 others.

Badge-making workshop.

There is Django as American Gothic.

Olympics rendition of American Gothic with middle school kids. Lorenzo and Django pose for me.

Daphné and her fur babies: Nala and Chamar.

And her favorite little Éloïse.

Riding Diablo.

Always fun for me to see all the ponies each week.

Visit from our friend Xu that we met hiking this summer.

We love you Xu!!! Thanks for the visit!

Calvary Chapel Nice hosted a 2-day conference on how to study and teach the Bible. The teacher was Florent Varak, who is well-known in the French-speaking church realm as an excellent teacher and author. Some would compare him to a Timothy Keller.

Church home group Thanksgiving. Such a blessing to have the family of God! Django, Benoît, Marina, Daphné, Tonio, Blandine, Levy, Ryan, Martine and Michel.

MAJESTY of our God!

Daphné on Idalgo.

As a member of the parent association at the kids’ school, I get to help with fun things like decorating their school for Christmas. This is the front office. Me with other parents, a fun, crazy crew.

And this is the annual Turkey Surf photo. My sister, my dad, my uncle, and 3 family friends. It’s been a tradition for years for the Hutchinson family to surf the morning of Thanksgiving. I haven’t been able to participate since 2010 just after our honeymoon, but I love getting the pictures each year.

And this is a picture of my California nieces and nephew. I love them so much! Rowyn, Rowdy, Nova, Collins and Rocky. I can’t wait to meet Collins in person one day. Tata Lindsey sends her squeeeeeezes!!!

And this is the beautiful announcement Nathan and Julie made for church to announce the ladies prayer advent event for the whole month of December. What a blessing to have those guys with us now as part of the team at Calvary Chapel Nice!

Thank you for the visit on our blog. Hope you enjoyed.

Love Linz
