Fête des Mères

Last Sunday the 4th of June, 2023, France celebrated all the mamas in their life. I was one of them. I feel so blessed and loved by my people, so honored to be Daphné and Django’s mama.

The light pink rose is from church. The red rose is from Django. And the gorgeous Lilies are Daphné’s…haha. She picked them out for herself. I still get to enjoy them.

These peonies are from my husband. They are so full and graceful.

Card from Django. I’m really impressed that he took the time to individually color the flowers.

The inside says: “A flower for Mama. If I was a gardener, I would grow a flower in the shape of a heart. It would be for Mama who would keep it a long time, because Mama would know that the flower is all the love from my heart.”

Django made this in Sunday school. “Thank you Jesus for my Mama, my superhero!”

Django made me a bracelet at school that came in this cute wrapping.

Django made me the bigger, rounded beaded bracelet, and Daphné made me the fun wire-beaded bracelet. They are so proud when I wear them.

This is the wrapping Daphné made that contained my bracelet. Her 3-D letters are getting better and better. It says, “I love you Mama.”

Daphné colored this for me.

Daphné also colored a super mama for me.

From Tata Cricri - thank you Cricri!

And a letter from my favorite person.

I cherish these things. This blog was a way for me to honor them and be thankful. I love you Daphné. I love you Django. Thanks for giving me the coolest job in the world! Being your mama.

Love Mama Linz
