Easter Monday Hike

Hello there! Our church has a tradition to do a church hike the Monday after Easter, which is a holiday here in France. The last Easter hike was 4 years ago in 2019, so the group this year was a bit smaller.

We had a blast, and look forward to more church hikes. As you can see, Daphné joined us - she was a champ. Four hours of hiking. God’s creation is so magnificent!

Me, Daphné, Pascal, Angélique, Parfait, Blessings and Tonio.

Trail head.

My question is how do all these rocks get here? It’s like a dump truck just poured a few hundred loads.

Daphné charging.

Hikes are always so fun to see the vast terrains God has made.

Pictures never do these panoramas justice.

I’m taking up the rear.

Check out that cave! We went and explored it.

I’m in the cave taking a picture looking out.

We were getting closer to the summit.

And the summit was a bit cloudy, so we couldn’t see all the views. But, what we could see was gorgeous.

As you can see, we are all bundled up as we eat our lunches. It was pretty chilly on the top in the clouds.

Walking down a different way, which was refreshing for our brains.

Proud papa with his girl.

I love those two!

Looks like fall, but it’s actually spring!

Almost back to the car.

Daphné earned a ride on papa’s shoulders. She did a great job!

Now this looks like spring! These purple Irises were so vibrant and fully of joy.

Thanks for “hiking” with us and enjoying God’s incredible masterpiece too.

Love Linz
