Au Revoir California

Our last week is always bitter sweet. We are still happy to be visiting my family, and we are also looking forward to getting back home to our own beds. Enjoy these fun memories.

We made it to the hood to visit my cousin Lisa and her family.

Front porch bench swing with Grandpa and Grandma.

Omi and Pops’ pool with Rowyn.

Tonio teaching at Calvary Chapel Conejo Valley. You can watch the replay (just search for July 27, 2023).

Duck pond.

The cutest little red head in California.

Eating lunch with my Aunt Camille, cousin Tricia, Uncle Dave and my family.

Slurpeeeeeeeee!

Mama-daughter date.

Daphné fell in love with Lucky.

And she loved this guy too, the polar bear named Harley.

Our senior year high school pictures.

Tree swing with Rowyn!

Look what I caught with my net.

My sister took the crew to Costco the day before we left. She texted me: “You can get kids in bulk at Costco.” Haha!

Saying good-bye to Grandpa Tim at LAX.

These kids are such great travelers. We are so thankful! It was early, as you can see by the yawn.

On our way to Montreal, Canada.

Screens make international travel so much easier.

And so does this guy. He keeps me grounded and laughing and blurry apparently. Ha!

Hi Montreal. Bye Montreal.

Loading up for the last leg of the trip home.

I wish I could sleep on planes, but until then, I enjoy watching my people sleep.

I served as a pillow and a deflector. Django kept moving his legs in his sleep almost whacking Daphné’s head several times.

And we got home finally to our home sweet home in Nice. A cool weather pattern moved in, and we got some crazy rain.

We are so thankful for the trip to California. It’s so hard living far away, but these trips help make it ok. We thank the Lord for His provisions and His protection and for a super fun time!

Love Linz
