Back to School

The kids rocked their first days back to school. Daphné started Wednesday, September 1st at a new school this year. Django started the day after on Thursday, September 2nd. He is still at the same school as last year. We are all thankful for this new season, and I’m personally thankful for a little more free time (breathes out deeply with a big smile on her face…haha). I love being with these two people, and I love reuniting with them after being apart from them too!

CP (Cours Préparatoire) is the equivalent of first grade. She is so happy with her new school, which blesses my heart tremendously. Making decisions to change schools is not taken lightly for parents, so when it goes well, it’s a big “thank You Jesus” moment!

The next day, Django’s turn! I would say Moyenne Section is the equivalent of Pre-Kindergarten.

And above is a little slideshow of Daphné’s progression of schooling over the years. She started at a local daycare just a couple weeks after Django was born (2017-2018). Then, her first year of preschool, Petite Section (2018-2019). And second year of preschool, Moyenne Section (2019-2020). Kindergarten, Grande Section (2020-2021). And finally, this year First grade, CP, Cours Préparatoire (2021-2022).

Cheers to God’s provisions over the years for our family, especially in the realm of school. We are so thankful for their schools and for the support of family, especially Pierre, Nancy, Rob and Cricri… you guys have been so involved in all these stages. And to my mom and dad, thank you guys for always being available for facetime. I also love that you were here when Django started his daycare in September 2019. That was so much fun!
