Tonio’s hike

July 11-18, 2026. Tonio was invited to be the “off-road, all-terrain” pastor on a hike for a group organized by our good friends Guillaume and Marianne. He led devotions throughout the week. He focused on the 7 “I am” statements of Jesus in the book of John.

Here is a brief description of where they were : Col de Var, Hautes-Alpes, between the massif du Parpaillon and the massif du Morgon. They also were able to go river rafting. (Sadly, I don’t have any pictures from this, but Tonio said it was fun.)

Enjoy Tonio’s adventure in God’s beautiful mountains with 11 other brothers and sisters in Christ from all over France.

He could definitely add all the commentary, but I hope you enjoyed this incredible peek into the French Alps and their beauty.

I’ve always said that Tonio is his best self in the mountains. I feel like they revive his soul.
