Lakeside + Nelson’s

After Costa Mesa, we headed south again to visit another precious family, the Nelson’s. We had a great weekend with this fun crew!

Micah blocking the waterfall to make a big splash. I waited underneath with Shannon and Daphné.

Tonio and Matt floating and chatting. Isn’t this a beautiful pool?

So much fun!

Me and my buddy Crystal. She has become like a big sister over the years. We met over 20 years ago when she was leading my LoveWorks trip to Fiji in 2001. We both went to Point Loma Nazarene University.

Django feeds Micah wood to cut. We all loved Micah’s tan lines.

Shannon is so sweet. She brought these beads to teach Daphné how to make key chains and then gave her the whole kit. Thanks Shannon!

Micah and Evan and fire.

Daphné and Pancho.

The girls at it again outside.

The boys.

Gardening with Crystal. She planted to many beautiful flowers.

We picked for a long time, and there were still so many left. Isn’t this bouquet incredible?

Going on a walk around one of the many lakes in Lakeside.

Our whole family with Pancho.

Duck watching.

Exercise park.

Hang time: Evan, Tonio, Daphné and Crystal.

Pancho really wants to share Django’s snack.

Daphné is in heaven with the little Pancho buddy.

Being launched by Micah. Do you like Django’s pew-pew hands? Ha!

Daphné’s turn. Weeeee!

Django tuck.

Group photo with the Nelson’s, Sandoval’s and Petrignani’s. See Django?

Laughing.

After the launch.

Orbeez gun. He’s serious.

Tonio enjoyed it too.

Matt with a colored smoke bomb. BLUE.

Micah with YELLOW.

Summer shenanigans.

The boys again.

Love this shot!

And this one too! If only Nice and Lakeside were closer to each other. We prayed and said bye after this shot, but it’s only see you later.

On the drive home, we were able to stop and see this beautiful person, Jessica. She just happened to be in California at the same time as us. She was the second person who knew I was pregnant with Daphné in 2014 when she came to visit us in Nice (Tonio being the first, obviously). I had to tell her because she wanted to take me wine tasting. Haha. I ate the bread and crackers. She is a gem, and I look forward to when our paths cross again.

So thankful for these friendships that are so dear to us and so rooting in our love for Jesus and fun!

Love Linz
