Cousins and my sissy pants!

Living far from our California family makes trips like this that much more special. Seeing my sister in person and hugging her “for real life” is priceless. And watching Daphné and Django play with their cousins is just…enter teary and happy emojis.

Rowyn and Daphné’s first hug. Theywere so happy to see each other.

Here they are in front of the guinea pig cage. Daphné couldn’t wait to meet these fur pototoes, as my sister calls them.

Practicing for the real thing.

Lucky loves Daphné cuddles.

Django, Rocky and Rowdy enjoying the remote-controlled boats in the spa.

These are the things summer evenings are made of… electric toy shenanigans.

I love that my sister’s kids and my kids love each other!

Pool party!

My sissy pants, Chelsey, and all our kids in the spa with La Croix - summer time baby!

Post pool Rowyn and Daphné. I think the guinea pigs are in the blanket.

Daphné has a soft spot for her Lucky girl. Lucky enjoys squishing in this little spot.

The girls had fun in Auntie Chelsey’s closet.

Tonton Tonio teaching the nieces about “football” - gooooooooooooooal!!!!

Daphné getting ready for horse camp with her cousin Rowyn.

Cleaning horse poop.

Daphné on Burretta and Rowyn on Hope.

Don’t want to mess with these two. I love them so much!!!

My sister in her new office! So proud of her. She is the coolest doctor ever. I hope her patients know how blessed they are. Check out her direct primary care model here at Liberty Direct Primary Care.

And our mama works the front desk most mornings. So fun!

Lucky is such a good sport. I love how bright the eyes are of these two funny kiddos.

Popsicles on Grandma and Grandpa’s front porch.

And the three younger ones.

Sleepover! Daphné spent the night with Rowyn and Rocky. This was one of her “I really want to do this” items while on our trip. She was so happy.

I love that my sister is my best friend. We talk almost weekly. She calls me on her way to work on Tuesdays. I’m so thankful for our relationship and for the relationship our kids have thanks to this closeness. Rowyn and Daphné are buddies. Django is buddies with Rowdy and Rocky. So thankful. And I love that they call me Tata, French for Auntie.

Love Linz
