20 glances of April 2025
Apart from our visit to Paris, here are some fun little nuggets of our month of April. Enjoy!
We are with our friend Edgar on the day of his dad’s funeral service. We sang 2 songs during the ceremony. Death is so hard. I didn’t even know his dad, but seeing Edgar’s tears made me cry. I look forward to a place in eternity with no more death, sickness, sadness or tears. Praise the Lord for the hope we have in Him!
It was time. I had trimmed his hair into a catastrophe. The hair dresser laughed when she saw my handy work. Haha!
Backyard barbecue with friends. Daphné holding her precious little bundle, Eli.
Baby dedication at church. Tonio prays for little Gabriel with the family. You might notice Lorena, which is one of Daphné’s best friends.
For my birthday, I like to ask for experiences from facials to ballet tickets to concert tickets. We redeemed a gift from our Tata Cricri and enjoyed a very entertaining production of the Star Academy Tour.
Django LEGO creation during a workshop he took the first days of spring vacation.
Daphné wanted to ride the wooden horse, so she paid for her and her brother to spin on the carousel. So sweet.
Mama, look! I’m rock climbing to bed. This boy loves rock climbing.
“Do you like it better like this or like this? Like this or like this?” (Brian Regan always brings me laughs)
Wisteria in full bloom. Smells lovely.
Django was invited to an egg hunt with his buddy Lorenzo. Two peas in a pod.
Visitors from Switzerland, Raphaël and Jimena and their family. We miss them!
Wedding at church. We were able to do pre-marital counseling with these guys. He is a pastor of a church in Monaco.
Opening their Easter treasures. So excited!
Easter Monday hike in Théoule-sur-mer with church friends.
After the hike, we enjoyed the sea. Tonio, Daphné and a few others went for a dip. Not me! Ha!
New glasses coming soon, and they have a cool sunglasses clip. We are so thankful to have found an optician specialized in kids glasses. It changes EVERYTHING!
Daphné riding Atari like a boss.
Countdown chain to California!
And a little spring outfit to share with you all.
Spring from death to life.
Rain feeds the hope of growing.
Each moment sacred.
