Paris - Life on a péniche, parks, and cousins

Welcome to the second post of the two Paris posts! We had some good fun in the first one, and I think you’ll enjoy these photos too. (post 2/2)

Boat sweet Boat

Daphné and Django love being on a boat (so do their parents)! Swans swim by, and we feed them. It’s super fun.

Cousins!!!

Me and my girl on the deck of the péniche.

Waving to the boats that go by.

The floor is lava, be careful!

Some cartoon down time.

Game time. This game is so fun. It’s called “Concept Kids : Animaux.”

I love to look out the window at boats going by.

Enjoying the outdoors

I went on a little pre-dinner walk. It’s so beautiful.

It started raining. You can see the droplets in the canal.

Umbrellas up.

The view from the bridge of one of the parks we like to go to with the kids : Parc des Ravageurs.

View of the front of the boat from land.

Running over the bridge.

Picnic at the Parc des Ravageurs.

Feeding the wild geese and their babies.

This guy is a breath of fresh air and a joyful ham.

She wants to chase the geese.

The view from our friend’s home in Paris. Not too shabby. We love you Edgar!

Walking through the Bois de Vincennes.

GREEN.

Tonton Seb offered a photo booth session to the cousins. It’s hard to get 4 faces in there.

Round 2.

Parc du Morbras.

Twisty tube slide is often a hit, no matter the park.

Walking paths and greenery for kilometers.

A fun water wheel. The kids sent flowers and sticks down it.

These fields of yellow.

Tonio is the one who discovered this place. His research skills are unmatched.

Django looking at the big white and yellow flowers, “Those look like alien spaceships.”

Calm and peace.

In front of the almond blossoms.

Daphné said this looked like a Monet painting.

Tonton is the best! He took Daphné on the e-bike to pick up Noé and Nils from school! She was on cloud nine!

Date night!

It’s always fun to get time with Seb and Maïna. We love you guys!!!

Riding squeeky bikes with screechy brakes. You could hear us coming!

Au revoir

We love you guys and will miss you!

We had a blast. Nils was sad. We’ll be back. We love you Seb, Maïna, Noé, Nils and bébé numéro trois.

And that’s a wrap folks. The drive home was intense. 13 hours. Much of it was traffic. I’m thankful for Tonio’s driving skills. We thank the Lord for the family He has given us.

I hope you enjoyed Paris with us!

Love Linz
