December 2024 Half Time

It’s December 9th as I type, so basically not quite half time. I love this period of advent, of waiting, anticipating, looking forward to the celebration of the anniversary of Jesus’ arrival on this earth. Enjoy some December snapshots thus far.

Advent calendars starting on December 1st! Yay!

Django’s turn. I love his sleepy head.

Birthday party for Django’s friend Lorenzo. Laser tag.

Big general assembly meeting for church. Tonio had many late nights preparing all the paperwork for the French government. I’m so proud of him.

A picture that Django’s teacher sent. I just love his little grin and folded hands. So precious.

Self portrait.

This is Automne, a little dachshund that we love to pet at the horse center.

Daphné doing introduction to vaulting.

She looks at these pictures and says, “That was crazy mama! I can’t believe I did that!”

And just for fun, here is my Spotify wrap for the year 2024.

I accompanied Daphné’s class to the museum. Can you find her in the black sweatshirt?

Her whole class holding up their works of art.

Walking back to the tram. I’m so in awe that I get to live in such a beautiful city.

Django had his first sleepover ever at his friend Lorenzo’s house. Apparently it went well and they had a blast.

Daphné at a birthday party for her friend Romy. A bunch of girls watching Moana 2 together. How fun is that?!!!

In French and in many other languages, the movie is called Vaiana and not Moana. Here’s the crew.

Corn hole at the Nice stadium before the match.

Santa was even there. Here is Daphné with her little friend Lorenzo (a different Lorenzo from Django’s school buddy) and Emmanuel.

So fun to do stuff like this with friends: Tonio, me, Django, Daphné, Lorenzo, Emmanuel, Luis and Sébastien, Lorenzo’s papa.

My Django and my Tonio. I love my guys.

Lorenzo cuddling with Daphné while they watch the match. Nice won, which made it super fun!

I love doing life with these 3. Django and I enjoyed the night at much lower decibels. Ah =).

Nancy took this of me practicing some Christmas songs with the kids in Sunday school. I love hearing their voices shout praise to our God! It’s such a joyful sound to me.

And there you go for now. I hope you enjoyed. Love Linz
