Wrapping up Summer 2023

Summer is one of those delightfully bittersweet seasons… we’re so excited when it comes, and we’re also so excited for it to be over. Perhaps, I’m just speaking as a parent - haha. I know the kids look forward to going back to school to see their friends and get to know their teacher, etc… So, these last moments of summer are always precious and cherished together.

Visiting Daphné’s future horse club.

These two are hilarious in the tram. Daphné is a seat for Django. They always keep people laughing, especially their mama!

Django received a really cool birthday card from the Calvary Chapel Modesto kids! Thank you guys again for blessing our bud.

Playing with the dolly at church with Papi.

In the summer, I put our rug in the garage to cool off our feet. Often the rug is replaced by LEGO. Haha. And this is not just a summer activity, but fall, winter and spring as well.

Leading worship with my husband.

Photo shoot with Barb. She is an incredible seamstress, and makes almost all her clothes. We took this picture because we were color coordinated. And as I’m making this blog post, Daphné is sitting near me. We both just realized Barb has cute fluffy white ears! Haha!!!

IKEA has become a destination in the summer. It’s air-conditioned and free! The kids love to pretend they live in the different rooms.

Working hard or hardly working.

They thought this tent bed was cool.

And Parc Phoenix, which is our mini-mini zoo, is a fun place to go just before school starts. Nothing like a “granita” to cool you off and change the color of your tongue.

Up next is the first day of school. Thanks for being patient with me as I play blog catch up.

Love Linz
